Einstein and Margarita
Alena Khmelnitskaya and Alexey Serebryakov share the stage for the first time. A play about great love and the atomic bomb.
The play "Einstein and Margarita" casts the true story of two people in a new light. It's a well-known fact: in 1935, Princeton University commissioned a sculptural portrait of Albert Einstein from Russian émigré Sergei Konenkov. The sculptor's wife, Margarita, met the famous physicist in his studio and became his only love for many years. Two extraordinary people found themselves together in a difficult situation during a truly historic era.
